I don't know... I don't think I will work on it. I want to, but it's confusing and you're the author which means you have all the great ideas. I don't think you could convey them to me well enough. Besides, I like reading your works without knowing what's going to happen. If I co-write, there's a good chance I will. Plus, I already have started a new project that I hope to be successful... Anyways, great chap. Very science-y sounding, and I like the name Callahan... It's cool. Also, more on Gilgamesh, and even a new alien race... The Tarist. Sounds sort of like "terrorist" which makes me not like them. Oh, and by the way, how come when I put in "Serpents of the Dern" and click "I'm Feeling Lucky" it links to my profile page? Not that I don't like it, but wouldn't you want YOUR profile page to be up? I'm confused...

It's a nice start. I like the prologue, giving a bit of backstory is good for this sort of fic. This has a lot of potential, and I like your description. You might want to make the chapters slightly longer though.

I want to know more about the story, because it's good, but it will never be better than Serpents. Nothing can EVER be better than Serpents! *freaks out and has a seizure on the floor*

Good prologue. I liked how you plugged in that little thing at the end there, as if it were the author of a school textbook telling about Earth, pre-asteroid. Very interesting. Oh, and by the way, Hastings isn't from Final Fantasy Tactics, or at least I didn't get it from that. Never played it. And I'm glad you think Taidel is better than Legion, because I so agree with you. Legion was boring and long, but this is sure to be better, and I'm going to have a whole big cast of characters that live out separate lives like the ones in Serpents of the Dern (I still hate that name, Dragonstone was always so much better...)
