Great poem, as usual. Fave lines: "So what is fear, but my desire?" and the last bit.

Eloquent, especially with the word "Close". My favorite part:
"Here as I watch the winter's wake,
Slowly I feel the splinters break,
And watch as they circle in the dusty morn,
Suddenly I ache with cold so forlorn,"
It's beautiful how unrestrained you are in describing these things. It still inspires me. Keep writing, aode. It does a world of good.

This is probably the best piece of work with such a length that I have ever read. I can't get over how wonderful the flow was, and the words were brilliant.
