Wow this is very cool! Love the haiku, they're so simple to look at but yeah I feel your pain at writing it! Well done. The other one is really beautifully written. Great job!

*swoons* o, chica, this is PHENOMENAL. i can't believe you don't think you can write haikus, i mean, LOOK at this thing! ! it positively took my breath away, i kid you not. awesome quote, first of all, i've never heard that one before, but the haiku, oh my god. *reads haiku over and over again in rapture* seriously, it's gorgeous. perfect title, and you got all the syllables right on (because remember you keep insisting that you can't count syllables? well, the good news is, you CAN! ;P). the first line especially is just fantastic, "ripple of my soul" i could just *feel* it, you know? "sacred camouflage" also a supremely captivating phrase.
lol ah-ha, i should have *known* that you patented the word "Lufian", it's so very chica-ish :P. i shall post it on my profile and spread the word (no pun intended, hehe); perhaps webster will come across it on one of his random fictionpress wanderings and add it to the dictionary, eh? ;) anyway, as i said, this is SUCH a great lil' haiku, and i hope you write lots and lots and LOTS of them from now on, because you're really very good at them (REALLY! YOU ARE! ! ! *crosses heart*). OH! and i just want to congratulate you for updating before the end of the month! you've saved the lives of many a main character (for the time being, at least ;), hehe. tons of kudos, chica, t'was an excellent chapter, can't wait for the next update! ! :D

Hi,
Thx for your reviews! This poem has some really good images in it- the confiscated tears, colourful Siberias and the solitude of abscence... sometimes the rythm isn't constant and some of the lines don't flow together so well (mainly thinking of "Where hope... colourful Siberias") however you can always say the occasional lack of flowing reflects the whims of loves ;) All in all though this poem is really good, it gets across what you want to express, which is surely the main aim of poetry ;)
Well done,
McD

That was beautiful. I'm not so sure about this love thing myself. I've been questioning it for a little while now. Thanx so much for the reviews!

*gasp* oh my god, i am such a *stupid*stupid*STUPID* person! i can't believe i didn't see this yesterday! i was so excited about the story update that i didn't even think to look! *bangs head against nearest wall repeatedly*. SUCH a phenomenal first chapter, chica, honestly. this is going to be the best series ever! (well, it's going to take some work to outdo your dear love yours sincerely death series, but i don't doubt your ability to do it for an instant ;). SO much fantastic imagery, seriously, right when you think the poetic world is just recycling the same pictures over and over again, you come along to save us. :P "plummeting . . . through worlds of confiscated tears" ~ took my breath away, i say, and i kid you not. "where hope often retreats to retire and die/to crochet ironies, to knit colourful siberias" ~ my favorite couplet of the piece, t'was truly amazing. "where your angst is their parallel to gold" ~ just really, really cool! :P FANTASTIC first chapter! can't wait for the next installment ~ yes, i'm hoping the whole having a theme idea induces frequent updates as you envision that it will *hehe*. KUDOS CHICA! :D

what does Lucians mean?
interesting series, i made a play once, but it was just one line, and only got one review.. *hint hint*
I love the last verse, purely because of the lines about parallels. It seemed to fit so well.
perhaps you could include song quotations; there is an ample source of those!
