Amusing. Most likely angst, but hey, it happens from time to time. Better to unload than to sit around feeling sorry for yourself.

Definatly angst. But realistic angst.
Understandable angst.
Good piece.
slightly random, but good

Wow, you pretty much hit the nail on the head, or however that little ryhme goes. Ya like me mom always tries to make me go to church and, i don't want to, it's not like I'm against it or anything it's just i read like, not church stuff and i feel guilty going. Any way i bought Alice in Chains and she like freaked out. The bottom line, parents are way to strict, boring, it's hard to believe that they were our age once, they should know what it's like. Gr parents!

Girl, I know how you feel. Although I'm not Catholic, my parents do the same things to me.
I don't have a problem with homosexuality, my parents do. The other day me and my mom were talking about it and after I had said my piece, she looked at me harshly and said "You know what Jessica, sounds to me like you don't see a problem with it!"
And I looked at her and said, "Well, to tell you the truth Mom, I really don't. I mean its their life and who am I to tell them what they have to do with their life? I have no right, so I don't worry about it."
Be who you are, Kaitlyn. Don't ever be afraid of who you are. If it's worth anything, I think you're great!
^)^ Love ya, Jessica

ah yes, I have the same feelings. I actually wrote an agsty poem that kind of makes fun of angsty things. My problem is that the stereotype of teens is to feel angst, but then that you don't want stereotypes, so you get angsty over the fact that you are a stereotype and it's a terrible cycle. I think it's just how true the stereotype is... I don't like it. It's harder to rebel against something that describes you so well, especially if rebeling is in the stereotype...
Anyway, you did a wonderful job expressing it here!

I know I'm having the wrong reaction, but I find that extremely funny. Especially the author's note "if you're sensitive about religion or sentence fragments" and the point "what did M.M. ever do to you?" The way you kept repeating Mom or Dad at the end of each sentence in a strand of sentences was very... I don't know the word, but it's a good thing. I think what I'm trying to say might be it's very good usage of alliteration, but I'm not sure... hm. Also, I think you did a good job of summing up some basic teenage ideas. Maybe we should all print that out and give it to our parents!
