I have to say that this is one of the few rhyming couplets that I actually enjoy! I perfer to write and read free verse poems because so often poems with any rhythm or rhyme sound too...I dunno sort of iambic after a while I suppose. The beat becomes to evident and overpowering in my mind. But this is not the case with River Taken. Great job! :)
