Powerful and intense imagery! I am in love with this: "life's bitter red wine," "Sacrifices itself in the silver truth/Mirroring my clouded eyes," and "metallic tinge of bittersweet memories." It is all so beautiful. I love the dance motif; it makes the poem flow even better than it already does. The rhythm of the poem is brilliant - I feel as if my feet were already dancing and my ears are straining to hear those elusive notes of music. Absolutely gorgeous.

Great imagery, very magical (to my mind anyway) what with the silver and the mirrors (I'm a wiccan).

This is pretty short, but it's projected so many images and meanings in my mind... ::thinks:: Where to start... Most of all, it reminds me of a thing that we all love so much, but hate it to death. It doesn't make sense, even in our own minds, which is why it's so hard to convey. I love your writing, and always will. Of course, if you do decide to stop writing, I will be terribly sad. You're an incredible writer, and I don't think you should stop. This piece does convey such emotions; I want to go away because it's safer there, but I like the danger I get when being here. It's all too familiar, and I like it that way. Gah, I'm not making any sense!

Whoa, what's with the defense there? Tone it down my friend! We love you!
I love this poem as usual. The imagery was rich- I love how the whole poem gets this dark gold sort of tone in my eyes, because you only give me goldish colors to think about- light and fire and bronze, and a touch of red wine.
The flow was very free and I loved it.
m~* Sunflower, anyone?

Pales in comparison to your other works.. but I like the subject. I'm feeling awful down now. And am in absolutely no mood to do anything but cry.
I'll miss you if you really go honey!

I've never really understood people who say they're "going away and never coming back". (I'm not trying to sound rude here.) I mean, if you need to take a break from writing, do so...*shrugs* dunno why you would "leave". Anyways, you're one of my favorite authors on this site, and so I hope you don't leave. =D So, about the poem...two things really stuck out to me were the bronze colored floor part and the part about the metallic taste. I'm not sure why, they just did...very good overall. =D
