This is literally the best poem I've ever read.

Hey there! I love this poem...it's really good...excellent job. I liked the sullen tones, the rhyming, the vivid imagery, and everything else! Once again, good job.

Oh Lord, this is the best poem I've ever read...
I especially loved these lines, "Through the cell of secluded loneliness, Only despair could ever reign here"
Good job.

This is absolutely awesome, as is all the rest of your poems. I'm a rather dark type of person, so I enjoy this. I really love the Classic Angst genre, not the teen angst that has started in the past few years. I'm sure you read Edgar Allan Poe; his poems aren't disturbing at all, and they don't seem like horror, but they have that sort of eeriness that leaves you fascinated, and this is one of those poems. Awesome job.

Very nice poem. The idea is quite strange, almost as if they're waiting for something or someone even thought they could have happiness. Interesting. Your words and flow is great. Keep writing!

I liked it, but why give up sunlight for darkness?...don't get me wrong I practically live in the dark, but I wouldn't want to turn into a mole with no friends and no one besides INTERNET!
OH yeah: Amelia Atwater-Rhodes rocks! Especially her first book...Forests in the night or something like that(I haven't read it in forever).

I read this to my little brother as a random poem to show him how fictionpress works and I just became so engaged in this! Keep writing!
