Okay, for one moment their i'd actually found Brayden's(your) insight valuable. I mean, this is really funny. I think i managed to understand half of everything written here(my IQ isn't that high) and I found your sense of humor amusing.
But duh, Jehovah's Witnesses don't tell people they're doomed to hell. JWs dont even believe in hell! You really lost my respect and awe with that careless comment.

When I first came across this, a thought flickered to me that this might again be one of those cliched stories where there's a loner girl and some sort of bad boy relationship. But this was so not.
I loved that Matt was so sweet and good and he liked her and made her want to try.
And the ending scene was too cute.
This story was really amazing and the writing was utterly flawless and mind-blowing. In fact, it was almost like watching a movie. I loved the scenes where Brayden reads those poems and I love every bit of Matt-and-Brayden interaction, because I can actually see it in my head and kind of feel it too, because of the powerful writing.
and another thing that's so extraordinary about this story is Brayden's insecurities, and how Matt accepts her with all her flaws and falls in love with her. That was really amazing.
And I love how Matt so doesn't care about the whole popularity thing, cause that would have been just too sad.
anyway, great heads up! This was amazing, extraordinary and one of the most memorable works ever. I do wish there was a sequel or something, but it was still perfect in its own way. Thanks for sharing this with the readers, and thanks to fate that I stumbled upon it and had a few hours of blissful, exciting reading on a rainy day. Hooray!

I really loved Matt. He was so sweet and realistic. He was so different from the guys I usually read about in other stories. He's all into love and being nice to Brayden. He's just awesome and I wish I could meet a guy like him in real life.
Brayden was a bit annoying at the beginning, but she really grows on you. I ended up really liking her, except I was so frustrated with her when she wouldn't believe in love, but I'm so glad that she finally accepted Matt.
This was a really cute story and I loved it :D

I have always loved this novel. I'm so glad its still here, all these years later. I printed it out once when I was like 16 but I lost it. This story got me through my teenage years! I love it, and you, and Brayden, forever.

I tried liking and reading this story, I really did. I got as far as chapter four and cannot go any further. First off, Brayden did nothing wrong. She handed that woman a piece of candy and the lady choked. Being fired for that she could sue them, any smart owner would never risk that. Back when I worked at a restaurant this girl got caught stealing but they didn't have definitive proof and did not fire the girl even though they were positive she was stealing. They just could not risk a lawsuit.
Secondly, the sarcasm is too much. From your description of Brayden she seems two steps away from bringing a gun to school and killing everyone. The sarcasm is over the top, no one would ever speak like that. Also your character just seems to be a nasty bitch. She assumes she's so much smarter than everyone and doesn't even bother to try to be nice to others because she's already judged them. Her only friendship seems to be a pity friendship, they barely look like they like each other, they only tolerate each other. And poor little girl, what does she have to be so sad and bitter about? Her parents are together and in love and surgeons. There are many people worst off than her and yet she acts like the world is on her shoulders.
I loved your writing style, and I see that this was written back in 2005 so it was a while ago, I just wished it was more realistic because I could not wrap my head around your characters.

I can't even tell you how much I love this. Maybe because it was written beautifully, maybe because it appeased the romantic in me, and maybe because Brayden reminded me too much of myself. Anyway, thank you for writing this. ^^

So I thought this was boring during the first chapter or so, but I figured there must be a reason it was in the "Drop of Romeo" C2, so I read on and got hooked. I really like your characters; they're alive and realistic and I can feel with them. Matt is so sweet, just the kind of boy you want in love with you, and Brayden's insecurities live in all of us. Favorited! Thank you for sharing!
