What a fascinating take on one of my favorite children's stories! I love hosw you've twisted it nito a somewhat modern way, and show how the two first pigs were not being lazy or foolish in building their houses of brick and straw.
It makes me think of the international situation the US is in currently (especially on Homeland security)... Had you intended on doing this? Anyway, I enjoyed seeing this little link between current events and fables. And I feel sorry for the third pig; he's so worried about the end of his life, he forgets to live it, and see his beloved brothers, choosing to fret over a phantom being instead.

Gee, SOMEONE doesn't like the American security policy. At least I get that impression from the brick-pig's comment ("I suppose this is the price I pay for freedom")
Simply written, like any fairy-tale should be, and the moral is different than the usual set that I see all over the place("Money is bad, war is bad, nature's better than the modern world, simpler is better yadda-yadda-yadda"). Even if I don't completly agree with it (this isn't really the place to debate it), it's a well done original piece.

Very creative! I like how you changed an ordinary kid's tale into a thoughtful twist. It made me think: why worry so much about everything? It is better to just enjoy life how it is.
