Tis a wonderous poem of a wonderous creature, and I give much praise to the inconsistant rhythem, for it makes the progress ragged, just like the image described.

There are so many ways I could comment on this. The narrator is staring at these ashes, and though he knows the phoenix is supposed to rise, I can almost feel a bit of apprehension that she may not; that she will remain cold and lifeless. Hope is a big part of it too... very inspiring, if you think of it long enough. I like that it doesn't rhyme.

I liked the relation to a phoenix. Phoenixes are god...My favourite lines were 'Can cold ashes give new flame birth? Can fire stir my soul once more?' That was just...AH.

An old myth that never is boring. Soon I will start my Legend, and the Phpenix is a large part of it. I say it's a pretty good Poem, reliving the fears a Phoenix may have while waiting to be summoned by the ashes once more.. Good job!
