i first read this because i love the word "paradox"... and i'm definitely glad i did. short, yes, but powerful. i love the imagery and language, especially "swallow euphoria" and "synthetic bliss."
the only thing that bothered me about this poem was the seemingly arbitrary capitalization. i would either capitalize the first letter in every line, or not capitalize any of them... but don't just capitalize random words. also, "Ahead" in the first line should not be capitalized.
