Excellent short story! I loved flowing to and from the flashbacks. It helps keep the moment alive by being dynamic. Just a little proofing and this story could be perfect. For example, 'Principle' is a value and 'Principal' is the head of a school, but great job all the same!

incredibly well written. the words are so simple and the story is common, but i love this. it's beautiful. it's perfect...and it's so sweet and different at the same time.

this is...sad. but well done. you actually made me cry, which usually isn't easy but i'm in a really strange mood tonight anyway. but yes the writing is really well done. i loved the flashbacks because they accented the relationship they had and showed us how painful it was now because he's dead. And when she was at his grave...that was powerful, at least I thought so. the think about the doctor alex guy was fine but, my, oh never mind that has nothing to do with this. anyway, great story. *sniff*
