I honestly wasn't sure whether or not I'd like the second poem (the one about black). I think black is a beautiful (non)color, but most (if not all) people I know seem to think that I'm strange for liking black.
They say that black is the color of darkness, evil, hate, etc, etc, etc ...
So before I read this, I thought you might be another one of "those people." You don't know how relieved I was when I read the poem and actually liked it. A lot.
I absolutely love that first stanza and the fact that you compared it to a mother's womb. Great imagery there.
I wish I could write a whole, long review for this since you definitely deserve it; but I'm kind of in a rush (to study for final exams). A lovely poem, wonderfully written ...

The third stanza pisses me off...but that's only because I be British and I miss my U. Anyway, after I got over my fussy-ness, I realised that this is an utterly stunning poem!
