Wow, I really like this. I always had the idea that when you die, you don't really die until you are forgotten. You showed that idea beautifully in this piece. Don't be afraid to move beyond rhyming. Even so, you're work is a joy to read. Keep it up.

A nice personification. Good rhyme scheme. Flows a bit oddly at times. I like the reference to death... it makes me think though... memories... surely they will live on in the other people who experienced them? Eventually dying out though.
