Oh my God I can so relate to this. Some years ago I did that to the guy I'm in love with now, even though he seemed interested in me. Now, well... (You can see that by my lyrics...) he got a girlfriend and keeps going back and forth with her. you know... someday he's with her, someday he's not. Anyway, back to your poem, he's beautiful and very well written.
