Wow.. this really touched my heart. Its like every day is a masquerade and the character (you?) just walks through one phony smile after another. Its very sad, bittersweet and heart wrenching.
Because for some reason, society views self expression and open displays of emotion as disgraceful, forcing people to put on fronts and facades. You really depicted that in its most painful form in this story and I commend you for showing us what most people tend to avoid.
This type of story can only be written if your heart is in it and I think everyone can see that so far, thats VERY apparent. I'm putting you on my favorites list so I'll know when you update. I love you girl
