The meter to this and just the word usage makes it so entertaining. Very bluesy. Reading it, I just got this vivid picture of someone tapping their foot on a day so swelteringly hot that everyone just prays for their skin to melt off.
The ending I especially liked. :)

That was amazing. Meeting devil on the crossroads so that he can grant you talent in exchange for your soul is one of my favourite legends. Also reminds me of the great film I saw, 'Angel Heart', in which Robert de Niro played the devil.

WOW! I really loved this. It's an interesting story, and although a lot of it sounded disjointed, I liked it a lot. Admittedly, it was the reference to Jethro Tull that drew me in, (*waves flags labeled "Go Jethro Tull!"*) but I got a lot more than I thought I would (no offense - that's supposed to be a compliment ^.^).
