You have no idea how much I can relate to this. It's scary and frightening, but also comforting to know that I'm not alone. I am sorry you had to experience this; no one deserves to be treated as if they don't exist, especially not when they cared so much about the other. All that aside, good for you! Don't let anyone make you feel less important while you give your all to them.

Whoa... I have a story going on by the same title that is completely different... This really hits home because my sisters having a similar problem. This is really good and has LOTs and lots of voice!

"This time I'll stay away I promise." This is wonderful, I can identify with it so much. I have this problem, too. This 'friend' I had for 6 years... well, I was at a sleepover recently and I heard her saying to the others there she 'didn't know why she invited me because she doesn't even like me'. It was horrible, and I didn't tell anyone for ages because I was just so ashamed, I guess. But this captures my thoughts near-perfect.
