This was... really unique, to say the least, though simple with your two word lines.
Gee, what a twisted ending. I had thought it'd be a happy ending, but nope.

The whole poem was really climbing action, up to the last line which really seemed like a climax for me. I really liked the way it had me holding my breath for the end. Nice back and forth actions, too. I loved it :)
