This was just awesome. I got a lot of different images and ideas in my head reading this... very powerful work.

Very nice work. If you were to write music for these lyrics, a piano accompianment and some light guitar would do the song some great justice, I think.
Then again, it's your song, so I can only assume you had an idea for music. Anyways, great job.

whoa- awesome job, girly! that was amazing, seriously. "A day without your laughter, A night without your warmth" totally convinces the reader (or listener, i guess, if you make this a song) of the desperate *need* for the other person. it's amazing. fabulous. beautiful. keep it up.
**by the way, after reading this *and* your extended lufians series i find it hard to believe you're not seriously in love. which means that you must have the poets gift where you can create emotions... gah, i wish i had that. lol. keep up the amazing work!**

holy cow, a new poem/song. *hyperventilates* and man, such a good one, too. it's like your creative genius built up over the past endless time of not writing poetry/music lyrics and then BAM here this is, in all its fabulous beyond fabulous glory. seriously though, wow.
"I wonder how
How I can lie here in awe
Delight in how you tell me
Our love is now quite gone"
~that sent my eyebrows up, because i mean, totally unexpected there, and just such a powerful moment to begin with. ja.
"I've discovered all too perfectly
Why I don't care to remember
A day without your laughter
A night without your warmth"
~that fairly broke my heart, it was like this rush of sympathy just poured out of me for the speaker. the final couplet there especially . . . for too hazardous to my heart's health, indeed.
yes, absolutely gorgeous, incredibly moving song, chica, i'm fairly melting with the awesomeness of it. i was trying to think of who would sing it, and for some reason i'm coming up with either evanescence or that one girl . . . damn what's her name . . . ah! alison krauss (don't even ask me how to spell that, lol). yes i think it could work either way. but ja, enough of my mindless blabbering, for methinks you hear enough of it as it is. ;P major kudos for this chica, it's a beautiful song. :)

do doo do... do doo do ... *waltzes* very Cardigans -esque. Also, some of Placebo's more somnolent tracks. *lavishes compliments which aren't coming to her tongue* Nice work. I really like it. *buys (read: downloads) track*
