This is a really great story, and I am sorry for your troubles with it.
I will post a request to join Plagiarism Haven, and I'm begging you to accept! I would be really sad if I couldn't read the rest of the story.

Hi Myrika,
I have been reading fanfic/stories online for over 8 years now. Though you weren't my first author, you were my favourite. Years ago I remember being enthralled by Raleigh, Ryan, and the Flame of Rome characters. (I was fortunate enough to read two and a half stories five years ago, but have forgotten their names. Do they start with R and M's?) I think you're a fine writer with lots of potential. When I saw your stories with a large REMOVED sign under it, it broke my heart a bit.
Have you ever read Salinger's Catcher in the Rye? In the book the protagonist refers to his brother briefly as a prostitute for selling his work to Hollywood. As a writer myself, I would always keep that at the back of my mind, saying that money doesn't always buy happiness. Whenever I came upon stories that I had read a year or less previously and saw that there was an "A/N: Taken off for publishing", I always felt some small feeling of disappointment and then move on. I mean, why not write for free where everybody can enjoy your work and reading helpfully shape your work? Knowing you were such a strong and determine writer, I would search your username and scroll down your growing list of stories to find them all there and a wave of respect would flood me everytime.
Tonight, I searched your username, scrolled down, and, to my dismay, read the big R word. I clicked on Against All Odds and read your, agreeably, long, long notes, and the wave of respect still came.
To have gone through all the trouble like online copy and paste (I would've just put my head on a table and never look at a keyboard again) for the sake of a reader's enjoyment and still go on to write without skipping beat deserve applause. I agree that the little girl on Lulu had crossed some serious boundries. I completely understand the avenue you had to take to save your stories. I regret I have not read your other works like Eidolon and Sox in a Box. I wish you luck in the future and hope to see your stories in a library (that's when you read true success, I think). I will be a proud own of one of your books. I only hope that the titles don't change so that I can recognize it.

P.S. I am Canadian and I sincerely hope that 14-year-old Canadian girl hasn't left you prejudice. We aren't all that bad, eh.
