This is pretty good, well written and effective. Too many self-conscious attempts at style though, such as calling cigarettes "cancer sticks." Not necessary and rather distracting. Also the story never seems to come to any real point, it just ends with a murder which would be shocking if it were possible to care about these characters. Unfortunatly there aren't enough details to do so.

Wow. I really like this story. The cancer stick thing reminded me of The Outsiders, though this story is nothing like The Outsiders.
It gave me a chill and my heart jumped. I also liked the ending!
