good so far. however, do you mean "arrest" warrant instead of a "search" warrant? it's just confusing when you say that "the police have issued a search warrant on angela"...it might be better if that was "arrest warrant."
and then there's the fact that a person can't be tried twice for the same thing...it's called "double jeopardy".

Wow that scene with Manda and Michael was wonderfully written. I could feel Manda's heartbreak. Unfortunately it is about time for her to realise what she has been doing in her stubborness and she needs to understand her true feelings that all point to LOVE!

If Angela is actually innocent, which I'm not quite sure of because she a conniving little witch, then who put the vial in her basket? Was it someone in her family or maybe a police officer.
I really hope Michael doesn't marry Angela. Another great chapter!

You know what I would love to happen in one of your stories- I would love for Manda to go to a fancy do hosted by say Michael's family and, of course she's not really invited and Michael drags her to it- but she comes all dressed up and gorgeous and people almost die of shock upon seeing her, especially Michael. Now, don't think that I want you to change the way she dresses all the time, because that would wreck her character, but just once I would love to see her inner beauty reflected in her appearance for everyone to see.
