All your poems flow so well - how you get this rhythm is beyond me! The rhyming is nice, and again it's short and sweet. Poor ickle animals!
Just a note: "dieing" should be "dying". :)
The first two verses are really powerful imagery. I love the phrase "velvet night". [steals it] Heheheh.

I think this was nicely written. Love the description at the beggining. And i like the last two verses also. Flows really well.
