for Why I Cannot Support John Kerry

2/25/2006 c1 Theatre des Vampires
I do sort of agree with you. Kerry wasn't much of a candidate (i wish this thing had spell check, did i spell that right?). He was only worth voting for at all because, like you said, he wasn't Bush. All in all, there are no good politicians. They're all scumbags, you just have to choose the lesser of several thousand evils.

YES! My thoughts exactly!

I, personally, think penguins should rule the world. It probably wouldn't be much worse that what Bush has done...

...The fact is, anybody noble enough to truly lead America I don't think would want to. Or they would be too poor. Don't bitch about the candidates all being rich, because, hell, it takes a lot of money to run for presidency. I'm not saying it's right that only rich candidates can (truly) run, but I doubt it will change.

As for Bush v. Kerry, Kerry was the lesser of two evils, and clearly the more intelligent. And, looking back, most people DID support the war because we were lied to, plain and flat. I and many others honestly believed that the war was necessary, Sadam was behind it and there were WMD, etc etc. Hindsight is 20-20. The worst thing would be to not vote at all.

This is not a post-your-essay site. This site is for original fiction.

Okay, you seem to be involved in politics again. I already told you, go home and play with your dollies, learn to spell and try to stop being a bitter bitch. I'm not sure it's possible, but I can always hope. Oh, you didn't say your age in your profile, but I doubt you're old enough to vote. Heck, you probably haven't even swapped Barbie for boys yet!

Obviously not everyone, considering he lost!
If you raise minimum wage, you raise prices across the board, because you raise costs and overhead. It wouldn't help at all.
If I figure out who you are, and you run for President, I'll vote for you.

"Another old rich Christian capitalist white straight guy."

Yeah, what we need is a young, poor (insert New Age religious fad of the moment here) communist black lesbian.

We can't have another white or straight president because true diversity comes from people who look different and have different sexual preferences (even though we like to say that being gay is no different than being straight). THEY WOULD RUN OUR COUNTRY THE WAY IT SHOULD!

PLEASE, if you wont do it for yourselves at least do it for me, i have family in Iraq. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE vote Kerry!

My, another intriguing essay about Kerry v Bush for presidency. This will surely cause many political fanatics in this site to blather their opinions. And there are a lot of those in here!
As for me, well now, I'm a lover not a fighter. I love, thus, I do not fight…uh…..what the hell?
Actually, I don’t like touching politics. That’s why I’m a romance/humor author. I’m neutral. And yeah, you and others may think there’s no such thing as neutral. It’s either you’re on the left side of the lane, or the right side. But guess what, a*? I’m defying the whole goddamm sonovabitch society crap view! (Laughs seductively and wickedly)
Anyway, here’s what I think. Kerry doesn’t know crap how to handle this fucked-up nation. Bush, on the other hand, does. Kerry “might not” mess this nation. Bush, on the other hand, already did. I could spit more of this but it won’t matter.
I’m actually, in a way, similar to my Philosophy teacher. He never votes. According to him, he didn’t even vote for homecoming people when he was in high school. He didn’t give out his specific reasons for not voting because he didn’t want to stir anything into our, his students, minds.
According to my History teacher, “Sometimes, the America’s people’s vote won’t even matter in the election of the president. This is all because of the electoral college system we have now.” Now, I won’t go and blah about this.
Ah, to me, politics is second to religion. One doesn’t touch such things if one isn’t up for the uproar it’s going to cause. And really, I’m not the kind of person who’s for uproars in such matters. Besides, talk is cheap.

Okay, I know I already said that in Spawnmeister6’s piece, but I’m doing it again. (Ha!) Anyway, the funny/not-so-funny thing about all this is that, you’d think the people really know who they’re voting and that they really care. You’d hear them do the blah-blahs in streets, in schools, in traffic, in the bathrooms, etc, but afterwards, no one will care anymore. It becomes nothing; until the next election comes.

Hm, through all those words, I doubt I made any sense at all! (lol)

The essay is all right. Not too bad at all. I like it! Good job. Oh yeah, you’re in one of my stories! ^^

I totally agree with you. Almost everyone I know wants John Kerry to win I disagree with them. I DO NOT like him no offense to you but I want George W. Bush to win this election and remain president.
