Like most readers, I grew up with DSR. I'm sure you did too, it was part of your life after all, but to see it back - to see you back and posting, is just... Wonderful. Being back in Chloe's world is yes, wonderful. My heartfelt condolences go out to you, your family and mom. Death, somehow, always feels like it just happened yesterday. Good luck with the next few chapters, and I'm glad you're back (and writing!) x

So, it's pretty late for putting my 2-cents in about all of this, but I wanted to say that I think that you have a story you want to write and that you need to write it the way that you envision it, pairing and all. I don't want what the people want, I want to read the story you want to tell. That being said, this is my I-don't-know-how-many-times re-reading this story and I've noticed that most of the interactions she has with Warren are conveniently right before an interaction with Connor that seem to be making him jealous. Other than that, the characters don't really interact, have any conversations with each other, or hang out and do crazy things together. He seems to be more of a plot-device than anything else. That's me, not voting for a pairing, but sharing some observations :) Anyway the story ends, though, I'll be happy, and I'm excited to see what's coming up next. P.S., if you ever re-write the story, in the first chapter there are multiple times when Chloe refers to herself as a bitch, but I don't thin that this really fits her personality in the rest of the story that she would just repeatedly refer to herself as one. It's kind of out of character for her considering later chapters.

Ive been reading and rereading your story for about nine years...whoa, i feel old. I started reading it when it was first published and have continued to check up on it as time passed to see if perhaps you had updated.

I realize there are reasons behind your lack of update, i myself have stories that have died mid birth, with readers who beg, threaten and whine at me consistently even though i posted them some six years ago.

i don't know if you will ever finish this story- it holds personal struggles for you I know, which makes it that much more tangible, real and addictive, there is a truth in the heroine and the circumstances that keeps me coming back in the hopes of finding out the end of this story.

I hope that one day you will come back to it, with enough time and conviction to finish it. I myself have my stories knocking like not quite dead skeletons on the other side of the closet door, sometimes i crack open the door and wonder when I'll be able to reanimate them- if I even have the stregnth and skill to do it. I don't know but as a faithful reader of your story, as someone who respects the skill and creativity in your writing I hope one day you do. I encourage you to. not for me, or the other readers, but for you. This is an amazing story, an accomplisment I think you could easily boast about now, let alone when its finished.

Chloe is one of my favorite characters of all time, and Connor is probably the guy I will always compare other lead male roles against. There is something familiar, comfortable, and fresh all at once about them. I hope you can wake them up again.
