O, joy! a fellow republican! There are too few of our kind in the literary world. This poem was very cute. I am morally opposed to limericks (for myself, anyhow) but the rhyme scheme definitely works for this piece. I tend to write with a more serious tone, but this was more towards the middle: not too fluffy and not too serious (which is often my problem.) You ought to read my poem, "Poison and Lies." Perhaps you will enjoy it.

Hmm this is complicated beucause I really DO liek your peotry. It's well writen and flows nicely. But I never agree with it. You know me, you've yelled at me for being a liber al communist and killing innocent babies. But I just have to say that, seriously, neither of the candidates were that good. Do you really want to be at war? we just had one 10 years ago. IDK I'm just tired of death. If you're so concerned with saving the lives of unborn babies, why don't you TRy and sympathise with the thousands of Iraqis dying because of our Prez. It's time we all just got allong. Sorry that I went on like that, just wanted to say that I like your poetry.
