Wow. I forgot how much I love this story. Please update soon. I went back an re-read most of it. What is going to happen to Stanton now that Colney also staked Cassandra with him? What is going to happen to Colney now that he's poor adn has lost everything? Don't kill him off because even though he's a horrible person, I like his personality! What's going to happen to Winborne and Cassandra - I can't wait for them to arrive at the Kingston house. Great chapter, can't wait for interaction between Eliza, Winborne, and Cassandra. Is Eliza in love wiht Winborne? I can't stand the suspense.

Hey, this is one great story! All of the characters are particularly endearing. I'm really liking Eliza. Who is she in love with? You've got such a way with words - very poetic! Please update soon, and conclude what happens with Cassandra and Winborne!

Forgive me for my previously wan attempt to characterize your characters. They are inherently your own and you have breathed life into them, it seems, with the very wisps of your soul. I hope I do not sound so terribly romantic...it is just my nature.
Despite my proclamations of your "mundane" characters, Eliza is anything but. I must say I have veritably fallen in love with her. Ah, again my ardent disposition comes out. To fall in love with a person after knowing them for two chapters. Nothing short of ridiculous.
But, you see, I have. Much as I have fallen in love with this story.
Keep up the good work. I hope a bit more of London society is divulged, as I intend on writing a sequel to my current Regency story involving this particular sphere.

I never know how to vary the compliments I give. This was such a wonderful addition to your other equally wonderful chapters. I enjoyed Eliza's greater depth and her struggle with the "Pangs of Love." Very much enjoyed the capitalization!
Poor Eliza.
Her mother’s guess that she had fallen in love had been accurate. But what Lady Kingston failed to realize was the identity of the man. Eliza did not bother to correct her. Why should she agitate herself further over what she had come to recognize as a hopeless cause? What did it matter that he smile so warmly into her eyes, or press her hand in a manner that stopped all breath in her throat? He was oblivious. She was a fool. And she could not bear to name him, not even aloud to herself.
You write the language so well!: Friendship. Never had the word been so stripped of its niceties.
