Interesting use of certain diction here. I like the "sun kissed skin," it sounds cool to say ouy loud. In all it is a good poem. But does school really change a person all that much? I guess different people have different opinions.

Btw, thanks for the review, I feel that poem is my favorite out of the great many I have written.
