I get that you love the movie, but maybe you should differentiate your story from the movie. She lost her love. . . he's dead (or maybe in a coma?). . . the heart shaped necklace. If those are an omage (you put them there on purpose to remind people of the movie), my mistake, ignore the review, but otherwise, you might want to tweak the details a bit.
