I like this. I saw a movie or read a book similar to this. But I may just be thinking of Peter Pan and how the Lost Boys built a house around Wendy in the first seen. I reminds me of alot of multimedia stuff and to me that's good peice of writing. Keep it up.

The stories just a little overly-sentimental and kind of silly. It bothered me a bit also that the premise, a child living in the streets because they don't have a home/family, doesn't generally really happen. The government picks kids up and keeps them places and sends them to foster homes and stuff. I guess a couple kids don't might slip through the system, but I think this kid, if they are this sad that they are alone and all, would be off the streets by now. And it's just a little weird that the family just kind of takes in the kid, without turning them over to anyone or anything.
