for Michael

Wow, a well-told, interesting story... It gave me goosebumps when I read it! It's kind of scary, yet written in a slow way that builds suspense, and the twist at the end I feel makes it a good end. I don't want to imagine who could possibly be at the door...

I loved this - 'specially the last line. It sort of gives you chills. Was he wrong? Or is it someone coming to finish the job?PS. Sorry about the review on your other story. I thought there was a grammar error - it was a glitch on my computer screen... My bad...

Wow. this reminds me of a twilight zone episode about a book worm who everyone always made fun of because he never did anyhting but read. well, he sneaks into a safe one day at work and starts reading, then a nuclear bomb goes off. when he goes out he realizes there is time enough at last. of coarse he soon falls and breaks his glasses thus proving that everyone needs someone and no one can live truly alone, or that fate has a really cruil sense of humor...either way it works out in the end^_^

thanks for the review! the poem you reviewed is actually leading into a story that idecided ot make a sequil to my other story that is going right now. if you ever have time you might like it. thanks for putting me on your faves list too!

That's really nice. It was an enjoyable read. Could feel very much what Michael was going through. ;) Thank you for your review on Thing One and Thing Two. ;) - As for Tess, I've been writing about her with a friend for over three years now. So she's very three demensional. And so far nothing has been more important to her then her job, and her need for revenge. - But that gets a little cliche there, but she is a very tough woman. I love her. D

First off, thanks for the review and the kind comments. You asked my age, the answer is 18. I was just reading this other person's stuff because the read and reviewed mine so I had to return the favor. Man, it was torture. Reading this after reading there stuff was a definate sigh of relief, a welcome escape. I liked this. It was different, interesting, and it kept our interest until the end. I didn't really care for the ending, but I think it's effective. What happens to him? Who's at the door? We don't know, so our brain has to just come up with our own answers, and some of them can be rather terrifying. It's definitely creepy. Good job.

AWESOME! The tone is set just right with this kind of topic, and you did a great job using the description with it. It reminds me of this Twilight Zone episode...Or at least the grandfather clock at the beginning did. Not that that matters much. :3

I like how you could tell how Michael subconsciously knew that he was alone in the world using his actions and emotions…You accomplished having the reader feel identification with him, AND THAT IS ALWAYS GOOD TEA, MATE. The ending is scary and ominous. YARR!

It's just as good this time as it is EVERY time, trust me. The words you use in your descriptions are so vivid that you can't help but get extreme mental images when you think of Michael and his home. I love this.
