very well done. i particualerly [i cannot spell today... you know how it is] enjoyed the bits of dialouge. they made the poem much more emotional. the last line really got me the most. i feel sorry for your doyle [there is no name for a poem character that i know of, so, thus: doyle] and you articulated your doyle's feelings well enough that i could feel them myself. congrats on your imagery as well!
