Cliques suck! Thankfully I don't really have them at my school. Well, except for the "popular" people. *rolls eyes* lol Very well written!

hmm... interesting... I love scratchies, but they won't let me buy them at the newsagents... stupid overprotective adults...

Hmm... for me that question is pretty straightforward, violence had to come first, coz the media didn't exist until methods of fast and accurate communication came about, but the desensitizing thing is pretty accurate. If I see homeless people and I have change, I give them some, but I never bother to think further, and perhaps I should. Thought provoking.

You're right, and possibly wrong at the same time. Everyone has different opinions on cliques (I personally like OTHERS having them, because it means I can shock them by doing the unexpected) most people in the 'elite' cliques think that they're perfect etc. Most people excluded feel bitter and begin to hate them, meaning that the most exclusive clique in my school (the one containing all the girls who would be models, except it's too much work for them) is the most hated. I enjoy reading rants, I love others opinions, it's great that you're not afraid to say it though, and that your grammar's good. Well done. Nice soccer mum thing.

The writing isn't bad, but I think you're being just a LITTLE too harsh on cliques. Not all of them are based on elitism, and they're certainly not all bad, either. For more on my opinion, check out "Point And Clique" in Life's Like That, my own collection of rants.

The way you have defined "cliques" is way to broad, a social class of similar people? Isn't that better known as friends. If they have similar tastes, which is probobly why they became friends in the first place, then why is it your place to tell them what to wear. Would you really expect a "preepy" girl who is a cheerleader and a member of student counsul and goes to bible study after schools, to be friends with a pot smoking goth. regardless of which person you would prefer to be friends with could you really see them being friends with eachother.

They don’t let anyone else in and they think it’s their God-given duty to tell other people that they (the Cliquers) think they (the people) are the scum of the earth. If ever told this by a Cliquer, I would simply say, “I don’t value your opinion very much—at all, actually. Thanks anyway.” Are you beinmg hypocritical when you say this and then spend the entire next paragraph bashing other people. I find it hard to take you seriously.
