Good work. I'm actually taking a college ethics class right now, and I did a debate on this very subject. Only I took the other side. I'm gay myself, so I was certainly being a hypocrite, but it was very useful because I developed the other side of the argument as much as I could. Now I'm much better equipped to knock it down. I just wrote a several page paper on the subject (defending homosexuality) would be interested in looking?

I love your argument, and not only because I'm on your side. I'm impressed that you didn't go for the religious angle. And I'm also glad that you didn't say anything negaticve about Republican's, cause some of us do believe in S-s marriage! Duh. Look at me!
