heyy! ive read some of your previous stories and thats how i got to this one. and i loved it! i dont think the whole riding blind is too farfetched because the whole thing isn't really about being able to see, more your timing and the trust between the horse and the rider. ive never read a plot like this one, its so original and good luck with publishing! please drop me an email at if anything happens!

I love it! It makes you think that nothing is impossible, yet nothing is what it seems either. :) I hope you don't mind if I put it under 'favorite stories'. ;)

Hey; I just voted for this on the SKoW awards. I don't usually do that sort of thing... so, here's why:
This is one of the most inspiring stories I've ever read. You have a great plot, well-developed characters, a likeable narrator, and the little things that you've added that make it such a wonderful read. I loved the scene where she tells him where to go on the horse - and that part about his eyes was absolutely beautiful.
Thank you thank you THANK YOU for writing this and posting it here. It's one of those stories that you read and it makes you smile, and it gives you a message that you actually remember. You deserve to win your contest! And if you publish this, I'll definitely buy it.
Thank you again,
Lucis

This is definetly not the kind story that I usually read, (at first glance it's a little bit too after-school-special for me, you have to read on to get interested) but I'm really glad I read it. It's a great story.
I read your authors note and I want you to know that I think you could probably get the current copy published-it's a lot better than most of the crap they print these days anyways. Oh, and I voted for you in the SKoWs. I hope you win.
Great story. Bye.

I think I fell in love with this story. I loved how you showed how disabilities are what you make of it and how Tristan can still fulfill his dreams even though something came in his path.
