Interesting start. I can't pass judgement on the plot yet since it is just a prologue. Reads great so far. I like the hint of sadism in the openning paragraph as well as the imagery. One thing that confused me though, is the name of narrator, "Rye". I am not sure how to pronounce it. Is it Rye as in rye bread or Rye as Reye? That's really my only criticism, is to just make that clearer. Other than that, great start.

This was an interesting piece, detailed imagery and emotion and a marvelous plot. I hope you will continue to write this beautiful fiction, and my thanks for reviewing Death of the Dandelion.
Sincerely, Corvina

Whoa...I am very impressed. You have an excellent style of writing that draws the reader in holds them mercilessly there until you've finished with them. I like it. Can't wait to read more!
