Well well well Shigasu, long time no see. This is absolutely beautiful. It's almost crushingly so. The sense of loss mixed with memories is almost painful, reading her emotions as if they were your own.
It IS admittedly a bit cryptic so I won't guess at what I think is going on but... I'm thinking she lost a child? Ok, I lied, I did guess but that's what I'm getting from this. (even though, I hate poetry for the very reason that I often don't get the concept)..
But I do like this and that's rare for me. I think the wording is magnificent and even better that you never sacrificed anything for the sake of rhyming. This line in particular caught me as exceptional
"Where Valour and Honour were all conceived"
Truly well put together.. what other one did I particularly like? Ah, this one...
"Of deep ebony lashes soft and candy sweet. Of a wonderous giggle that melted her heart."
Those lines really tore at me... great job Shigasu.
