I LOVE this book... I just read it for the second time today...
It simply does not get enough love, though!
And I agree: Christopher has surpassed his mother. :)

I alsmo agree with you. Sure, Anne Rice has a strange way of writing. And to be honest, I don't even like half the vampire chronicles anymore. But compare The Snow Garden to Interview with the Vampire... see what I mean? IwtV is one of the best books ever written, even if the entire series of sequels couldn't top it. Hell, IwtV was in the Top 100 Books of all Time. The Snow Garden is good but nothing special. I've also read his other book, and its pretty much the same thing. Both great writers, neither can grasp a more open style of writing.
Also, The Witching Hour is amazing, better than most of the Chronicles. Far better than both Chris' books. IMO, IwtV, The Vampire Lestat and The Witching Hour are Anne's best books.
