You're right. I don't really get this. I'm assuming that by pretty birdies you don't mean actual birds...I'm assuming you meant people...guys? Special people to you...? I don't know. And by message on the answering machine...? I don't know. I love how you write about everyday situations in your poetry, though. You don't just write when you feel like it's a special occasion because of love or anything. YOu just write. And that is an excellent characteristic of a real poet. ;-D
