Well this is quite good. Some of it is a bit confusing like: what he looks like, what the girl looks like (besides the red hair), how many people live with him, why do they live with them- you know, stuff like that.
I wiil say though that the cynicalness (I don't think that thatis a word but oh well) of the story ads to the character's attitude. The descriptions are good.
You have a story here with great potential. Keep up the good work
