for Woman's World: Apostasy7/8/2006 c6 tempestreigns
I'm still getting over the shock of her(she's still nameless! Its kinda..ironic, that she has no name in this fic, and yet there are the nameless men...if that makes sense...) being pregnant before the operation...Oh my god, if I were in her sisuation, I would rather never know...The whole "what you don't know can't hurt you " thing is actually pretty true..Unless you find out eventually, which usually happens...But anyways, I'm straying off topic here(: the point is..-wonderful chapter- I don't think I have ANY c&c at all for this one..I think my putting quotes into my reviews probabally annoys peopl, but...I justadoredthis chapter-It was probabaklly my favorite one yet...I love Ebekeneeze, with the "pound of feathers/glass/gold" thingXD hes so cool, hehe, and the dude shae is working with or whatever,...I forget his name oShe handed him a strange contraption she called a muffin,-omg that was funny. cuteishXD-“Don’t eat anything he gives you,” Mistress Ei-ling said over her shoulder. “Don’t drink anything either.-That would make me feel very..uneasy..if someone said that to me,lol-and prodding something that looked as if it wanted to bite them back. hehe...-That underlying tone of insanity.- love thatXD

Wow...that's the only thing i can say. That was amazing. My heart is pounding and i can't believe what happned. You did a great job. There was nothing bad about the story. I'm sad and happy about what happened. I hope that you put the other one on and until then i'll just sit and daydream.

I felt suspense, and then shock/horror when reading this last chapter: I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen when they finally went before the council, and I expected it to not go so well, but...Char getting shot? No! *tear*
I did appreciate AND like the italicized sections. It was nice to see the immediate effects of the death of Charolyn and the beginning of the second part of the revolution, and how ALL the characters (i.e. Gapoleon and the other scholars, Shrub, the hospital personnel in the East Hall, people in all the Halls) were connected. And it also gives me hope for Shae.
My initial feeling at the end was one of: "Oh my God, it's started. Oh my God, what are they going to do now? And I've got to wait for the next story. Damn." Or something like that.
I am shocked by: Charolyn's death. Poor Mercoush :-(. And now who will lead the rebels?
I am saddened by: The riots-that's going to be a big disappointment to the rebels, because they probably never expected them to get that violent and for so many innocent people to get hurt.
I am happy about: The support the revolution was receiving in the Halls, shown in that italicized sections. Even if they were being killed, it was good to see everything start moving along now.
I encourage you to: Let the Empress have her part in the revolution. I think she's stronger than anyone can imagine, and I think she can add a lot to the revolution if she decides to show that strength. She and the Poetess are kind of kindred souls, aren't they? At this point, both of them are merely figureheads that the people happen to love (the Empress trapped by her Council, and the Poetess by Cuaranth), but both of them have potential to be a lot more. (The Empress also happens to fascinate me-what a unique character, and how very well she understands the precarious position she is in.)
I plan to flame you if you don't: at least let us know what happens with Shae soon. (Actually, I don't think I'm capable of flaming you...I'd probably just strongly let you know of my negative feelings.)
Any additional comments: Excellent story! As always, you keep me hooked to the last moment! Up the Revolution, down with the Council! Make way for Insurrection!
Good luck with the publishing endeavors, and know that all of us are rooting for you. Just be sure to let us know when you do get a deal. ;-)

I cannot believe in my heart that Shae is dead! I'm hoping it's a cruel plot twist and he will make a reappearance in the next book. If this is not true please do not ruin my hopeing by telling me so. *Sigh* Man this sucks... if I had a time machine I'd so fast forward time and read the final book.

Hey, long time no see eh? For the most part I thought this was pretty good. My main beef was with the timing. All the chapters seemed kind of rushed, like your trying to hurry up and finish the story. I think you should slow down and go into more detail at certain times. You fit whole days, weeks, even months into a single paragraph. Go a little more in depth into the other characters, like Mercoush for example. You gave one scene with him crying over Charolyns body. What about the rest of the time? I know he didn't get over the death of his lover that quickly. Had this been made into a book it would have been way too short.
