hm...my favorite character is matthew, even though he did horrible things and is a swindler. I really like him. He can be so sweet to Cynthia at times, but then turns really mean. You should write some fluff about them sometime. I think they would be cute characters together. ;D Anyway, you shouold have more interaction between Cynthia and Matthew, but thats the only thing I would have changed to your story so far. Good luck, and keep writing! ;)

I really liked how you described the harbor...and the way you described Cynthia's morals when she said she would never sink so low as to become a prostitue. My favorite character would have to be Cynthia...she's strong willed, funny, and smart. Matthew is kind of a jerk...as well as his brother, but perhaps they'll change. Nice job. Update soon!~Sahara~

This story is so good!
Mad, this is awesome. I love all the characters. I can't stand Matthew! Poor Michael. I really liked this chapter except the part where Matthew was first notified that he was being kicked off was a little confusing.
This was hillarious. I loved the part where he walked in on her gambling with his crew.
Grabbing the wrong girl is kind of a used plotline but I like the twist to this story. She didn't immediately fall for the captain and he ended up being a jerl anyway. I'm waiting to see what other things you'll do. I'm sure it will be something unexpected.

Very nice chapter...I love all the dialogue you have...it's very good, and you have a nice balance between that and your description. I really like how Cynthia made that resolution...but somehow, I don't think it's going to work! ^_^

Aw, poor Matthew, first he got his leg nearly broken and now his crew has been 'corrupted' by little miss troublemaker (Cynthia). ^_^ But well, that makes the journey all the more fun eh? Anyway, keep up the good work and update soon!

Very good chapter...I liked the end especially...it makes it seem as if Cynthia doesn't really miss her home at all, it's like she enjoys being on the ship. Good job bringing across the Captain's temper...it was funny when Cynthia faked crying...I'm surprised the captain didn't realize she was faking! ^_^...excellent job, update soon!~Sahara~
