'perfect and modify the perfect' In WHAT way is nature perfect? Please explain to me that. Because I looked outside at the forest and it seems pretty imperfect to me.

The other reviewer beat me to it, other animals DO kill each other out of malice.

Nature gives you no love, don't delude yourself. The rest of the biosphere hates us. When we were hunter-gatherers, was nature loving us? Did it come up to us and give us meat and berries on a platter? No, we had to hunt down and kill animals for meat, and they didn't make it easy for us. We had to rip the berries and plants off their bodies.

Nature gives us no love. It gives us nothing. We have always taken from it, like every other species on this planet.

"Why are we the only species of animal which kills other members of our own species out of malice?"

animals kill each other over territory, mates, and other resources. most human conflicts are caused by similar factors.
