Uhm, Wow. Beautifully written, Dr. But then again I'm so emo I was bound to be in tears by the end anyway.. which I am..

On another less sad note, Yes, I'd like to love Leaf too.. But the only male friend I have is Tim and he's nothing like Leaf so he can't be a substitute. v-v; Life is unfair

Y'know, I was beginning to worry that you didn't get the betaed version back or something, 'cause according to my stupid Hotmail I hadn't replied to your email! Thank goodness you did... *phew*

Anyway, you know I loved this to pieces- it was macabre and twisted and I friggin' loved it! I never mentioned this before, but I loved how neither of the characters are given names. It makes it more...okay, I honestly don't know what I'm trying to say (I apologise for my incoherence) but I just like it. I think it really allows the reader to feel as though they're experiencing what is happening more, or as though they've been given the opportunity to slip into this anonymous character's mind... Okay, now I'm just babbling.

To get to the point- I loved it. Like I said to you before, you really are a talented and have turned me into a real fan of your work m'dear! *huggles*

WoW, you are super talanted you know that? The ending is kind of remanisant to 'A Pictuer Of Dorian Gray' have you read it? Well if you haven't you should, its a grate book! anyway geting off the point, the stlye you wrote this in is simler to Oscer Wilde's stlye and Wilde is orgasmic!

Damn. I think my heart just stopped. Literally.

This is haunting and chilling. It is also strangely real. Because there ARE moments when you feel that you will destroy yourself. It's kind of like you won't be destroyed unless the destruction has a place to fester inside you. (Oh Lord, I'm spewing crap again.)

With this story, I could really TASTE all the confusion and hurt that was going on inside the girl. And what's absolutely great is that you're not making a whole dramatic show out of it. It's just pure life on the screen. Maybe life is so much more frightening than nightmares. With nightmares, you have life to wake up to. But with life, you have nowhere to run. Because life is what's inside you. (I'm starting to sound like shit.)

I love the way you made this connection between the girl and the man with the 'cold gray eyes.' Especially how the girl's eyes start out so tired in the beginning and then change to cold grey orbs at the end. It's a perfect ending. I swear I was shivering and tingling all over. This story was like a mirror that turned me inside out. (Ew, that sounds awfully medical on the screen.) Thank you so very, very much for this opportunity. I really love works like this that help me think seriously about myself and life in general.

By the way, did you know that you defy all adjectives and adverbs? No, I'm serious, you do. 'Saturday Morning Cartoons' was really cute, but I am definitely going to have a dream about this story tonight. (See, that's the way I am. I dream about the things that impress me out of my socks in real life. Yes, I'm weird. Fnn.) Anyway, I absolutely love this one. You should try more like it. (Slash versions would be divine. Eh, I'm a yaoi obsessed dork.)

The only thing that I kind of have another opinion about is the 'as I die' in the second to last sentence. Maybe you might want to consider something a little less direct, since it's the end? (Something like, "I watch my reflection as the mirror fades." God, that's stupid, but it was just an idea from silly little me.) The story is just wonderful even if you don't change anything, so don't take me too seriously. Nobody should.

Absolutely wonderful work, and I hope to see tons more in the future!

Dana

P.S. Are you from England or something? It's just the spelling of 'grey' made me curious...
