I really love this.I think it is its sheer simplisity that makes it so deep. It's life put into thirteen words but its those thirteen worlds that made me think.Keep it up!

Accepting the inevitable. Love it.

Indeed, the big picture. It makes me wonder if this "happy man" had any real character depth. Nonetheless, this is a cool thought to be in haiku form. Not usually something that one would think to write about.

true enough

Not in a traditional form of haiku in which nature is expressed, but the idea of life is. You show it well, but perhaps too simply. It seems to lack imagery. Not a bad beginning though.

haha that's great! No other words for it. I like the last line best...

Hi! Thanks for the reviews. Actually, the story "Kernos Duriel" is what I can refer to as my antidote for my occasional pet peeve, which is writers' block. Updating it will serve as a practice for me so that I can make stories that are better. It will never be a masterpiece.

Okay, this poem of yours is short but it means much. The way you presented this fact of life is nice.

This is true. But that's life I guess.

This poem is so true. I loved it. No a bad haiku, I must say. Keep up the work!

That's the way life goes.

That is life. Now we make the most of it, as he had done.
