Again, interesting: a lot of plot for a single chapter, but it works somehow. The only part I would question is right at the end: somehow I think that my mother would be rather more curious were I to be dropped off at home by some teacher, particularly one of the opposite sex. (but then she may just be overprotective...)

An interesting beginning; technically not entirely accurate, but the problems are mostly small, punctuation and so on, and, like Homophobia, the sheer emotional power of your writing carried it over. It's a little confusing, but then what else would you expect from a prologue?
