Wow. One of my favorite styles of writing is using pages and pages of non-wasted words to describe something simple - in this case eating pie. And you pulled it off well.

Okay, At first I thought 'wow randomness' and 'what happened to the end of that sentence' and 'm.. pie' and it becomes her wrist. Wow! I don't see that one coming.
I've read one of the poems on your look-up. The one about the cold plums. Actually we studied it for Junior Cert but it's an odd poem. All the others we read where about dandelions representing invading forces and the like. But not that one. Just thought I'd share that with you!

Oh my gosh. That was amazing. It's so poetic, and darkly funny - and the last paragraph, my gosh! You totally got me. It was a really striking piece.
