It looks like your story has been taken down from Amazon. I did a search and I couldn't find it, so I'm pretty sure you were successful in your attempts at reclaiming the rights. I wish you didn't have to take down your story though, 'Hiring a Hooligan' was really good and hilarious and...educational. :-)

OMG! Amazing, Wonderful story! I absolutely love your characters, they were absolutely perfect! Their relationship was natural, and happened with a real reason. Granny was awesome and kick ass too! Best nerdy chick lit ever! You should so get it published!

As like many people who have read at least one of your stories, I am not someone you know. However, I am someone who cares about authors and their works, because I am an author and a poet myself. I hope it's going okay, this entire thing about the plagiarist. I looked online and there's only one mention of the dude: a broken/taken down page that had 1 star on it. 22 reviews. Most likely the work of your readers...because the only accessible page is now a 1 star review called "October Tuesday" who basically spilled all of the beans. All of them.
People on here (or at least fans like me) love the crap outta you..I love the crap outta your stories, especially this one. It's such an extraordinary piece and you are an extraordinary, extraordinary author. So even though I respect your decision to take down all of your work...please do get it published or something so that once again, we may have the pleasure of reading it. I would voluntarily spend money just to have my own copy of this story because I come back to it...over and over again. Good luck, good hunting, good writing!

So I came back to FictionPress to reread a few favorites, including this one, when I read your note on Hiring a Hooligan. I am greatly saddened to hear that someone took your wonderful works and tried to claim them as their own. Please know that I am going to Amazon straight after this to flame the everlasting fuck out of that guy. I am even more distressed to find out that I will probably never read the end of this fantastic story.
I am a longtime lurker on FP and you have been one of my favorite authors for YEARS. Seriously. Then the quality of the writing went down on the site and I took a break from it only to come back to this (and there is no other word that comes to mind for this) tragedy. I know a lot of fantastic authors who got hit in that plagiarism swarm and it pisses me off to no end that people like yourself with such talent, humor, and excellent storytelling no longer feel comfortable publishing your stories in this format.
And I know this note is probably way too late and God knows way too long and you probably won't read it, but I just felt that you should know that there was someone (from the looks of it, many someones, actually) still anticipates updates after all these years for your fantastic stories and is heartbroken that we won't get to read the end of this one. I honestly hope you look into publishing Hiring a Hooligan under your own name and finishing and publishing this story, as they are both highly creative and excellently written. If you ever do, please let me know.

I just came across this story even though it's years old and I wish I read this sooner. While I'm sorry to hear someone stole your story I would totally want this in book form too. If you yourself could get it published that would be fantastic because Jane is such an insane character. You created this wonderful person and this wonderful story it's quite upsetting it'll be taken down. A lot of writers on these types of sites tend to write characters based off themselves or how they want to be; I didn't get that vibe from Jane. She seemed like her own person and you came off simply as the genius that created her. Thanks for such a fun read and I hope you continue to write.

Thanks for sharing your stories- I really hope that one day you'll finish Marrying the 'Vitch' and put it up somewhere as an ebook. I've been dying to know how Navleen and Lucan's story ends!

I am so sorry something so awful happened to you, because this is a lovely story that is forever associated with you in my mind. I'm incredibly sad you will take down your work, but I also completely understand.
I just saw this note now, and when I checked on Amazon, I couldn't find any mention of it :) which you probably already know. I'm glad it worked! And I hope maybe one day YOU will sell it as an ebook. You have fans who would buy it, definitely :)

I wish you luck with your writing and hope to see your works published one day (under your name and not some theif's) as I was looking forward to reading the rest of "Marrying the 'Vitch' " when you finished it. Your writing style is unique and your stories are very enjoyable so thank you for sharing them.
It is certainly understandable that you will be removing your stories but I would suggest leaving up the first chapters, or perhaps just part of the first chapters. That way you will have a timestamp to prove that they are your original creations should you ever encounter another plagiarist. I would hate to think that someone else might have stolen your hard work but precautions are, unfortunately, necessary to guard against the less decent people who use this site for their own gain.
