I love this! So descriptive. I could see everything in my mind's eye. On my favorites, definately. Have you looked at the formatting though? It seems your punctuation was messed up maybe by quickedit...anyway, still a great poem.

there's a certain tune to this piece (is it lyrics to a song?).. building up suspense and then the climax at the end.. it's a beautiful one :)
